For those that are uncomfortable in group settings, or do not have time to wait for a regularly scheduled class with another company, we specialize in 1 on 1 same-day or next-day training, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365-days a year for many of our courses, as long as we have supplies, and instructors available. We also offer night and weekend classes.

Oahu CPR Training has Emergency Medical Technicians, and Wilderness Emergency Medical Technicians (WEMT’s), on staff to provide our pre-hospital emergency care training. We are also the only private training company in Hawaii that has a certified Diving Medical Technician (DMT) on staff.

Unlike other training companies, our instructors are members of the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) and National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT).

Oahu CPR Training is the Health & Safety Training Division of ELITE Training Services and was founded after noticing a need for competent, effective, and yet affordable, first aid, CPR, and safety training solutions in Hawaii. We have since adapted, grew, and evolved, and are becoming a leader in providing on-site pre-hospital emergency care training and certification solutions to the general public, foodservice, retail, industry, construction, and medical communities throughout Oahu.

All training through Oahu CPR Training is coordinated through and supervised by our Training Center Director, Robert Anderson, Ph.D.

Dr. Anderson has over 18 years of fire and EMS service experience, and over 25 years of experience as a health & safety educator. He is certified as a BLS & Wilderness Emergency Care Level 9 Instructor Trainer with the American Safety & Health Institute, Certified Instructor Trainer for the Emergency Care & Safety Institute, Certified Instructor for EMS Safety, Certified BLS & Heartsaver Instructor for the American Heart Association, an Accredited Instructor for the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a Level II Certified Instructor for Emergency First Response, a division of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). He also holds the coveted Master Scuba Diver rating from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.

Oahu CPR Training is an American Heart Association Authorized Training Site, an Emergency Care & Safety Institute Approved Education Center, an American Safety & Health Institute Approved Training Center,  and a ProTrainings Approved Training Center. We are also members of the American Association of CPR Lifesavers.

We currently offer courses from the American Heart Association, ProTrainings, EMS Safety, American Safety & Health Institute,  Emergency Care & Safety Institute, American Academy of Pediatrics, Medic First Aid, Emergency First Response, and the National Safety Council.

For the diving enthusiast and those in water related fields of employment we also offer courses from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) through their Emergency First Response (EFR) training program. These courses are required to advance to the Rescue Diver level certification and Master Scuba Diver rating.

Our CPR & First Aid training and certification courses include Pediatric, Adult Only, or Adult, Child and Infant courses.

We also provide Airway Management courses, Oxygen Administration courses, Childcare and Babysitting Safety courses, Pet First Aid & CPR courses, Advanced First Aid courses, and Wilderness Courses ranging from Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, and Wilderness EMT Upgrade.

We offer Traditional Classroom instruction as well as Blended Learning options for many of our courses where you complete the course online, then practice the skills you learned and have your skills evaluated in front of a Certified Instructor to better serve your needs and training requirements.
